JSW Steel sees Indian steel longs consumption to exceed steel flats’

Indian JSW Steel said that India's consumption of steel long products will exceed that of steel flat products in the following 10 years, driven by the strong demand from some infrastructure projects.

At present, the country's consumption rate of steel long products and steel flat products is 50% versus 50%.

However, JSW Steel sees the country's consumption of steel long products would exceed that of steel flat products and it adjust the consumption rate to become 55% versus 45%.
